Halley Bay

They said the boat was going to the Isle of White but it went the white continent!
They said we would be living in a 2 up 2 down, but it ended up 40 feet below. They said there would be central heating , well there was, the kitchen was in the centre and that was warm. What they didn't say was the bedrooms were only -2 degrees C and the honey pots (Toilets) were in the freezer at -12 degrees C.
But this was too be home for two years.!
